FSSGP confronts traffic violence by advocating for life-saving infrastructure changes and providing support to those affected by deadly crashes in our communities.

One Shot
Closest to curb
One attempt, no corrections. A textbook parallel park, scored on distance to the curb.
Tight Squeeze
Fewest moves
Eighteen inches of clearance. Park within six inches of the curb in as few moves as possible.
Under Duress
Most parallel
Park under active pressure from distractions and barriers as parallel as you can.
The Final
Highest score
Top three advance. One attempt each.
Contestants park to impress the judges. The judges decide the winner based on competency, flair, and style.
How it works.
1. 15 participants will be selected to compete based on a combination of parallel parking experience, ability, and love of parallel parking. Participants must reside in the city of Philadelphia.
2. Each participant will compete in three demonstrations of parallel parking abilities.
3. For each event, participants will be ranked according to that event's success metrics. Points will be awarded based on each participant's ranking (e.g. 1st place = 15 points, 2nd place = 14 points, etc.).
4. The top 3 participants across the three events will advance to the finals.
5. The judges will select the winner of the final round based on competency, flair, and style. The winner will be awarded the title of Best Parallel Parker in Philadelphia 2026.
6. No backup cameras or parking assistance systems are permitted.
